Schad covered the surfaces of light-sensitive paper with various objects and then left them to develop by his windowsill. By doing this, various patterns, shapes and lines would appear on the light-sensitive paper once it had been developed. He preferred worn materials, such as scraps of paper and bits of fabric, often searching for these things on the streets and in garbage cans.

Laszlo createde his own unique set of photograms by "creating a photographic negative by placing objects on the layered surface. Opaque objects therefore leave behind areas that are white because the paper remains unexposed where these objects have contact with the surface."
László opened the School of Design in Chicago in 1939 and courses in the “light laboratory” were a permanent part of the study programme. The Interview:
Around Canary Wharf i talked to this man who was taking a quite break from work, sitting on a bench a reading a book, i asked him these following questions:
Q. Hello, May i ask what your name is?
A. My name is Yoshikage Kira, and yes it is a Japanese name
Q. How old are you Yoshikage?
A. I'm 33 years old, and still yet to be married.
Q. Where / What do you work as?
A. I own my own department store but luckily for me I get home around 8pm latest.
Q. What's you daily routine?
A. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink.
Q. So what do you like about this place?
A. I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone. This place brings me peace and a quiet state of mind, I love it.

E V A L U A T I O N
I enjoyed doing this photo shoot as I was given a lot of freedom to experiment with what and how I take my photos. I chose my destination as Canary Wharf as I believed that it would benefit me as a photographer to try street photography and taking pictures of buildings and architecture. I believe many of my photos succeeded in having something unique and interesting about them, really highlighting what sites i saw and overall exhibiting the area. However one thing I believe I would do better next time is documenting the journey process. As I was travelling a lot I was more focused on that rather than getting photographs so next time I will be more conscious about the journey.
Also later on in the adventure around Canary Wharf I met a man named Yoshikage who was on break from work, I spoke to him and questioned him about himself and the area and he pointed out about the serenity of the place and how it can be very calm and peaceful at times, especially when you are away from the main, busy roads. After speaking to Yoshikage I took some more photos around the area trying to capture the peacefulness he was talking about.

Cordier was born into a family of Franco-Belgian industrialists specialising in cosmetic products, including nail polish, which although has not been proven, it may have been a great influence towards his fascination with the manipulation of liquid. Cordier completed his military service in Germany in 1956 and decided to write a dedication with nail polish on photographic paper to a young German woman named Erica. Pierre discovered what he later called the chemigram. This technique, which "combines the physics of painting and the chemistry of photography without the use of a camera or enlarger, and in full light" became for him a source of experiments and was almost like a second language to him.
